Promotion of vacant leasing
The state of North Rhine-Westphalia has provided a funding pot to revitalize the centers with the immediate program downtown 2020. At the request of the city of Bad Salzuflen, 42,768 euros were granted state funds for the center of Schötmar. The municipality contributes its own share to the costs.
The funds are used to subsidize rent. The municipality can sell vacant shops to max. Rent 70% of the old rent (cold rent) and rent this at a reduced rent for max. sublet for two years. Further framework conditions must be met for funding.
